In SST, I can change the throttle to act as a 0 - 100 or have a + and - axis but whenever I try to apply a profile to the controller, windows blue screens. Windows gets the full range of the throttle when configuring the controller and the Saitek Smart Technology profile editor (SST) detects full-throttle movement. Half the throttle is "dead", the remaining half isn't fully used. ![]() When I tried the throttle on Arma 3, I could map a throttle_axis_+ but not a throttle_axis_- and I ran into the same problems. But it never reaches 0, only 157 so I'm not even getting the full range of the 50% of throttle I'm stuck with. When using SCJMapper it reads a raw value of 1000 until I move the throttle about halfway, then it starts decreasing. I start mapping controls to SC but then I start running into the same issue over and over. I found Decius Capri's post on setting up and configuring the x45 with star citizen and I got to work.ĭrivers downloaded, software installed, Windows 10 is recognizing the controller and all functions are working correctly on the Windows side. I recently came upon a used Saitek x45 joystick and throttle for really cheap and figured it would satisfy my needs for now. ![]() Giving up for now as I've sunk in 2 days of troubleshooting into it. TLDR: Somehow ended up worse than when I started.
